Amanda Laura Bynes was born on April 3, 1986 in Thousand Oaks, California.
One could perhaps attribute her flair for comedy to her father, Rick, a dentist and comedy enthusiast who encouraged Amanda and her siblings to enter the world of acting.
In the beginning, Bynes starred in community productions of plays like To Kill a Mockingbird, The Music Man and The Secret Garden, and started in the art of getting laughs during classes at comedy
The Comedy Store and The Laugh Factory, both in Los Angeles. At age 10, starred in a comedy at The Laugh Factory child, and was immediately approached by an executive from the Nickelodeon television network.
And the laughs have not ended since. Bynes Nickelodeon hired for a series called All That, where he always stole the audience's attention. He became well known for her role in "Ask Ashley" skit about an opinion columnist.

Although Frankie Muniz, the TV show Malcolm in the Middle was the star attraction of the film, the audience agreed that the character of Amanda was the most fun, thanks to his hilarious interpretation. Also in 2002, the WB network began broadcasting comedy What I Like About You, which allowed Amanda continue to show their qualities. She plays a teenager who moves to New York with her older sister and of course, totally changes the way of life of his sister. In 2003 Amanda won her first starring role (which was only his second film) in What a Girl Wants, about an American teen in search of his father in London, England.
